The 1st Annual Fresno Summer Jazz Series, featuring some of the biggest names in jazz, will take place on Friday, June 14. The venue for this event will be the Woodward Park Rotary Amphitheater, nestled in Woodward Park, a 235-acre facility located on the south bank of the San Joaquin River between Highway 41 and Friant Road.
Brian Culbertson, Bob James and David Sanborn will kick off the series on June 14. On Aug. 31, Lenny Williams, Boney James and Trombone Shorty will perform. The third and final show will take place on Sept. 28 with George Duke and Stanley Clarke, as they reunite for their latest Duke Clark Project, and seven-time Grammy Award winning singer Al Jarreau.
