Margaret Hudson, our great-hearted colleague who has been recuperating from an accident since the winter, has sent us one of her poems, with thanks “to everyone for their positive thoughts and actions.” She adds that she is looking forward to becoming involved with the community again.
To Be Alive
to be alive is to grow
to grow is to sprout
to push up through
the hard-packed earth
of impossible situations
reaching to the light
source of all our being
there to leaf
to bud
there to burst into FULL BLOOM
