The Central Valley Fuego was officially out of the running in the Jägermeister Cup after a 0-1 loss to Union Omaha on Aug. 9. The winning goal was kicked in in the 95th minute of the game, with four minutes to go, by Omaha forward Steevan Dos Santos.

Although it was not a league game—the Jägermeister being a mid-season mini-tourney—the competition was fierce, and there were three yellow cards in the last quarter of the match.
