It’s a Halloween event just for dog-lovers! The Tower District hosted the 10th annual Whitie’s Pets Pooch Parade, Canine Carnival & Costume Contest. This doggie to-do took place in the former Blockbuster parking lot on the corner of Olive & Yosemite avenues in the Tower District on Sunday, October 23 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

The Whitie’s Pets Pooch Parade, Canine Carnival & Costume Contest featured over a dozen product and food vendors, the Beer & Bone Garden, family entertainment, and some of the most incredible human and dog costumes you’ve ever seen. From 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. people enjoyed the K-9 Carnival featuring one-of-a-kind dog products and services, free samples of dog food and treats, and family entertainment. At 3:00, contestants and furry friends strut their stuff in the Pooch Parade along the sidewalks of Olive Avenue, ending back at the festival site for final judging of the Canine Costume Contest.
