Saint Patrick’s Day Event — A Huge Success

The Saint Patrick’s Day Family Day concert was probably the best event the Community Alliance has ever sponsored. More than 200 people attended as Fresno’s Young All-Stars of Irish Music & Dance performed in a benefit for this newspaper. This wonderful event was held at the Unitarian Church, where magnificent acoustics showcased all of the talented musicians. We are honored to have been able to hold this event at the UU church and for all of the support we have from this community.

Kevin Hall, Pat Wolk and Pam Whalen worked tirelessly to promote the concert, which included Blackberry Jam, Jem and Masha Bluestein, the Danny Boys, the McTeggart Irish Dancers, Jim Michael, the Misalliance Improv Players, Roscanna, the Spud-Baggers and Two Dudes.

The photo above is the grand finale, with all of the musicians jamming and the dancers dancing. If you would like a DVD of this event, contact us at editor@fresnoalliance.com or call 559-978-4502. The DVD will be available for a $20 donation or regular subscription to this newspaper.
