Interfaith Social Justice Collaborative. First Congregational Church of Fresno (Big Red Church), 2131 N. Van Ness Blvd. Discussion of relevant social issues and events. All are welcome. Enter the courtyard of the church through the north gate. The meeting is in the parlor, next to the church office.

Wednesday, October 2 7:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m.

Candlelight Vigil for World Peace. Celebrating Gandhi’s 144th birthday. CSUF Peace Garden, just north of the Henry Madden Library.

Saturday, October 5 9:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m.

CSUF Peace Garden. Program includes garlanding and flower ceremony, special guest speakers, classical and folk dances, musical tribute, short speeches by youth leaders, brief statements by community and civic leaders, meditation, pledge against hate and violence. Please bring flowers.

Sunday, October 13 1:30 p.m. Registration, 2:30 p.m. Walk
