I would like people to know…
To end homelessness will take affordable permanent housing and permanent employment if able to work. To do that, we need more people in the community to get involved. The ones that complain, the advocates, all homeless shelters and organizations with the county and city to actually come together to combat this—we all play a part. What we all have is a passion for wanting to end homelessness.
Let’s get together to change the language in the federal definition, let’s team up and speak up at city and county meetings. Make trips to the State Capitol and ask for help and change or make new laws.
Together, we really can help end homelessness. Agree or disagree, at the end of the day we all want people off the streets!
