The Grand River pebble barely touched the left ear of the

Near retirement Mexican border American Sheriff

But the bullet pierced the heart of the Mexican fifteen-year-old

Youngblood painted the river sand under the desert high noon sun

The vital élan left from his tender body as vapor with a Scent of Death.
