Xavier Becerra, the Attorney General for the State of California, will be the guest speaker at the next CVPPAC meeting. Following the presentation by Mr. Becerra will be a Q&A. This meeting will take place Saturday, Feb. 10, at 3:30 p.m. at the Fresno Center for Nonviolence, 1584 N. Van Ness. This event is open to the public.
Also on the agenda will be a discussion about CVPPAC endorsements in the June primary election. We will not endorse any candidates at the Feb. 10 meeting, but we will determine which races (e.g., Fresno City Council, Board of Supervisors) we will focus on. The scheduled date for the (members only) CVPPAC endorsement meeting is April 7. There will be more details about that meeting soon.
