The economic reports, books, documentaries, columnists, talking heads and self-proclaimed pundits are juggling cold statistics and jabbering away about “inequality” of resources in the United States and the world!
I plan to write a report for the Community Alliance that puts a local human face on the issue and am looking for people who are willing to share their stories about what this “inequality” is doing to them and their families. I hope this project will educate everyone about the real human face of “inequality” in Fresno and the Central Valley.
If you are working at one or more jobs and still cannot make ends meet for yourself and your dependents, I would like to either talk to you, or send you a short survey. Your identity will be kept confidential, and names will not be published or shared with anyone.
I look forward to receiving responses from people who are willing to share personal stories and from people who can guide me to organizations that have access to such human narratives.
