Xavier Becerra, the Attorney General for the State of California, spoke at the February 2018 Central Valley Progressive PAC (CVPPAC) meeting. Becerra spoke about the importance of using the law to promote a progressive agenda and how he is successfully challenging the Trump agenda. “If you want to make California not just blue, but progressive, I’ve got your back,” Becerra said. There was so much interest in this speaker and how we are going to build a progressive movement in the Central Valley that the CVPPAC had to move the event to a larger venue. We encourage you to join us at our next meeting as we endorse progressive candidates running for local and statewide offices.
