Johanna Torres is a public servant through her advocacy work with the local legal aid office. She is co-founder of Madera Votes, a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Madera Branch and part of the “Comunidades Indígenas en Madera” (Indigenous Communities in Madera) group.
