Forestiere Underground Gardens
Baldassare Forestiere’s creation is an historic landmark. For 40 years, using only shovels, picks and other hand tools, he built a network of underground rooms, courtyards, and passageways reminiscent of the ancient catacombs. Hourly tours of the home of Sicilian immigrant and self-taught visionary artist/builder available on line and by phone.
